1. About barber.qa

barber.qa is an independent barbershop discovery and information service operated by:

“We”, “us” and “our” refer to Nordic Nexus BV. “You” means a visitor, submitter or authorised barbershop operator using the service.

2. Acceptance and changes

By accessing or using barber.qa, you agree to these terms. If you submit information, claim a barbershop profile or use an operator account, you also confirm that you have authority to do so and will comply with the additional responsibilities below. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

We may update these terms to reflect service or legal changes. The effective date appears above. Material changes affecting registered operators may also be communicated by email.

3. Directory information

We aim to publish useful and carefully reviewed barbershop information, but venues can change prices, services, opening hours, appointment availability, ownership and operating status without notice. Information is provided for general discovery purposes and is not a guarantee that a venue is open, available, suitable or accurately described at the time of your visit.

You should confirm important details directly with the barbershop, especially opening hours, service availability, accessibility, pricing and appointments.

4. Appointments and third-party services

barber.qa does not currently take appointments or payments. Booking, service-list, map, social-media and barbershop links lead to independent third-party services. A transaction made there is between you and that provider and is governed by its terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security or performance merely because we link to it.

5. Submissions, claims and corrections

When you submit barbershop information, an ownership claim, a correction or other material, you represent that:

• the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and is not misleading;
• you are permitted to provide it and it does not breach confidentiality, privacy, intellectual-property or other rights;
• you will not submit unlawful, abusive, defamatory, fraudulent or malicious material; and
• if you claim to represents a barbershop, that relationship is genuine and can be verified.

Every submission is subject to manual review. Submission does not guarantee publication, profile access, a response or a particular outcome. We may verify, edit, reject, archive or remove submitted material to maintain accuracy, safety and editorial standards.

You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, adapt and publish submitted factual information and materials for operating and promoting barber.qa. This licence lasts for as long as the material is used by the service, subject to applicable law and the rights of third parties. You retain ownership of your content.

6. Images and other protected material

You may upload an image only if you own the necessary rights or have sufficient permission for our intended use. You must provide accurate creator, attribution and rights information where requested. Our processing may resize, crop, compress, convert and remove embedded metadata from an image.

For accepted images, the licence in section 5 includes the right to display and technically adapt the image on barber.qa and in previews or social sharing cards for the relevant listing. We may withhold or remove an image if rights cannot be verified. Contact mail@nordicnexus.nl with a clear identification of material you believe infringes your rights.

7. Operator accounts

Operator accounts are available only after verification and approval. You must keep login links and credentials confidential, use accurate account information and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access. Access is limited to the barbershops assigned to the account.

We may suspend or revoke access where verification is no longer valid, an account is misused, these terms are breached, or this is reasonably necessary to protect the service, a barbershop or another person. An operator account does not transfer ownership of a listing or guarantee that every requested edit will be published.

8. Acceptable use

You must not:

• attempt to bypass access controls, probe vulnerabilities, disrupt the service or introduce malicious code;
• impersonate another person or business, submit fabricated reviews or evidence, or misuse another barbershop's profile;
• use automated systems to extract, copy or republish a substantial part of the directory without our prior written permission;
• use the service or its data for unsolicited marketing, harassment, discrimination or unlawful activity; or
• remove ownership, attribution or legal notices.

Ordinary search-engine crawling that respects our robots instructions and limited linking to public pages are permitted.

9. Intellectual property

The barber.qa name, visual design, software, editorial text, organization and original media are owned by us or licensed to us and are protected by applicable law. Barbershop names, logos and third-party materials belong to their respective owners. Inclusion in the directory does not imply endorsement, partnership or ownership unless expressly stated.

10. Availability and changes to the service

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of barber.qa, introduce new features or change eligibility requirements. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, but we will take reasonable care in operating and securing the service.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for losses caused by reliance on barbershop details, a barbershop's acts or omissions, third-party websites or services, or temporary service interruption. We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

If you use barber.qa as a consumer, mandatory consumer protections in your country remain unaffected. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

12. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how we process personal data. Please review it before submitting information or creating an operator relationship.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Dutch law. The courts of Amsterdam, Netherlands have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer or other applicable law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter.

14. General

If a provision of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of that right. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a reorganisation or transfer of the service, subject to applicable law.
